Fun memories shared at supper tonight...
My sweet friend, Jody... carrying her phone with her all day last year... waiting for my text... going to the classroom next door... pulling Sophie into the hall and introducing her to her new baby sister.
Lawson remembered being at Jessi's... not having to take a nap when the other kids did... getting to stay awake, waiting for Mommy's text to Jessi's phone. Jessi showing him the picture and telling him the name of his baby sister. She showed him what button to push on the phone when it would go to sleep and the screen would go dark. He carried her phone around for the longest time, refreshing the screen and staring at his baby sister.
They both remembered coming to the hospital... looking through the window (stupid h1n1 virus) and getting to see the sweetest baby ever.
Sweet, sweet memories.

I JUST saw these pictures again tonight on my computer screen as I was rocking Jada in the living room. It made me smile to remember what an incredible moment that was, even for me! Happy Birthday, Gretchie Bug!
