family.

Mom was so excited about their "grandkids picture."
She wanted to get in enlarged and framed.
Then she realized... it will only be current for about a month.
Then they'll be another baby girl added in!

The whole crew!
13 people all looking at the same camera.
Amazing.

cousins.

So much fun during our time spent with cousins.
The next day, Sophie said, "I wish our cousins could come play everyday!"
They had so much fun.
Darn that 14 hour drive.

First time we had met... she wasn't too sure about me.
But she did like my necklace!

My neighbor commented that our backyard looked like a daycare! :)
(Marley had gone to stay in her yard for awhile. I thought 7 kids and 6 adults might be a little too much excitement for one dog!)

Mary requested a picture with Marley before they left!

Thanks for coming to visit!
Hopefully we'll see you again soon!

tired.

I am so tired.
I decided last night that I am probably going to get more sleep once this baby comes than what I am getting now.
So uncomfortable at night.
So much effort to roll over.
Getting up to go to the bathroom at least twice.
6:00 am comes way too soon.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she was 2 weeks early???

she's excited.

Sophie brought this paper home from school yesterday:

My cusens and my gramo and grampo are kuming ovrr.
Mee and my cusens are going too pla.

The kids have been counting down the days!
We're anxious to see you all on Thursday!

37 days.

37 days left.
That doesn't seem like very many.
So, so ready to meet this little miss... but so, so much stuff left to do at school and at home.
My doctor's PA casually mentioned on Thursday that I am measuring big. About 2 weeks ahead. What?!
She said it probably doesn't mean anything... they don't worry about it unless I'm measuring more than 2 weeks ahead.
But it was enough to get me a little freaked out.
At this rate, I'm not going to be ready 2 weeks early!
Really feeling motivated to get some things done and ready for a sub at school.

I feel great about my sub (which is very lucky, considering the one I have had lined up since March called and cancelled on me a couple weeks ago! Plus, I had "given" my second choice to the teacher next door to me a week before! Ugh.) But it all worked out, and I'm convinced God had it planned this way all along. (He just felt the need to throw me a little stress for a few days apparently!)

People at school started telling me on Friday that I look really pregnant all of a sudden. Funny... because I've felt really pregnant for awhile now.

Hoping to get lots of "baby related" stuff done this week and next... just in case this little miss doesn't want to follow her momma's plans.
Imagine that.

pre-school.

I took the morning off so I could take Lawson to his first day of
pre-school. We took Sophie to school, then headed to breakfast at our favorite donut shop!

So excited!!

Lawson wanted to take my picture in front of our sign, too.
(He loves to take pictures with my camera!)

Running up the "bridge..."

This year was such a different experience from last year.
He did really well last year, but was a little clingy. So much more confident this year. (Familiar place... familiar faces... some of his best friends are in his class!)

Like Jaymie... they are buddies from daycare. Jaymie's grandma is going to take them both to pre-school in the mornings and Jaymie's mom will pick them up on her lunch break and take them back to Jessi's. We are so lucky to have such great people to help with transportation!

After a big hug for me (that I had to ask for) and a quick kiss for the baby... he was off and running! "Bye momma!"

He is going to have so much fun this year!

He's going three days a week this year, then next year... Kindergarten!!
How is that possible??

My little man isn't so little anymore.

jumping.

Daddy is so much fun...

Can you tell that someone big and furry wanted up there with them really bad??

baseball.

Last weekend, we had the perfect weather to take in a ball game.
70* for most of the game.
We brought jackets and blankets in case it got chilly for the fireworks.
A perfect evening!

Sophie really liked the "Bat girl." She would do a flip after each bat she picked up.

The only problem with fireworks is that you have to stay to the end of the game.
9 innings is a long time for 2 little people (and one very pregnant mommy!)

But it was worth it! The fireworks were really, really good!
I tried and tried to get a picture of Lawson's face, but couldn't do it. So excited!

Thanks, Heather and Brian for joining us!
We had a great time!
