(me) answers.

What are some of your favorite stores?
Target... Eddie Bauer... Kohl's... I could spend way too much money in all of those places.

Are you reading anything in particular right now?
I'm working my way through Danny Silk's "Loving Your Kids On Purpose" right now. I've been wanting to read some of Karen Kingsbury's latest books this summer and just didn't get around to it. There hasn't been a book of hers that I haven't loved. And I've read everything by Nicholas Sparks and Richard Paul Evans. Love them.

Do you have a favorite tv show?
I think the DVR is the greatest invention ever. I probably watch too much tv. But the DVR makes it so easy to catch up on my favorite shows on the weekends or after the kids go to bed. I love it. It is set to record all new episodes of: The Office (you either love it or hate it. We love it.) , Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Criminal Minds, Glee (just started watching it this summer!), Modern Family, and my two "guilty pleasure summer shows," Make it or Break it and Pretty Little Liars.

We loved Lost (but not the ending) and I loved Gilmore Girls.
And M*A*S*H! We love M*A*S*H!!

What is your favorite food/meal?
I tell my 1st graders that my favorite food is cheese. Any kind of chocolate/peanut butter combination comes in at a close second, though.

My favorite meal might be my mom's recipe for BBQ meatballs. (We're having them tonight! Lawson is really excited!!) Always with cheesy potatoes, green beans and rolls.

How did you meet your husband?
Corey and I started dating in December of my senior year of high school (1995). Our first date was to Christmas Formal.

But I first met Corey during the summer before my senior year. When he was dating one of my best friends. :) We actually went on a double date to Homecoming. He and Patti had just broken up, but decided to still go to the dance together. We decided to double date to make it a little less awkward for them. The next day I was asking my parents what they thought of Jeff (my date). They thought he was okay, but my mom just kept going on and on about Corey and how much they liked him. I remember saying, "Well, you're probably never going to see him again because he and Patti broke up." So my mom likes to say that she chose him first.  :)

We actually grew up just 15 minutes away from each other. Our high schools are really big rivals. He's 3 years older than me, though, so I didn't know him in high school. It's funny... I knew who some of his friends were (friends that were later in our wedding!) but I had never heard of him. :)

We dated the rest of my senior year and on into college. (Even though we were 4 hours apart!) We got engaged after my sophomore year, Corey moved to my college town for my junior year and we got married the summer before my senior year.

Patti started dating one of Corey's best friends later during our senior year and they actually ended up getting married. We were in their wedding and they were both in ours. (This is Corey with them just last week!)

I think that's it for all the questions! That was fun! :)
Now back to regular family life...

Thanks for the laugh! I forgot how good I looked in high school:) How weird is to see your high school picture and it's out of style! Good times, good times and again I reitterate how glad I am it was you and Corey and Patti and Kerry who ended up married and not the rest of us! Speaking of- what ever happened to Mark?

Hi Amy! Thank you so much for the meal planning website. I'm on it! :) Very sweet of you to think of me.

Oh...and I LOVED LOVED LOVED Gilmore Girls too. I cried when the series ended. (I think my husband did too, although he won't admit it)

Target and Kohl's are the best!! Those pictures are great and I cracked up at Corey's comment he left! I think you have a real winner there and I have a husband who helps to run the house and it certainly does keep us working moms sane! :O)
