We are down to a matter of DAYS before we get to move in here! So excited!
(Except for that whole packing and unpacking boxes part. Blah.)
All our bathroom sinks were installed with these stickers. It made me smile...
My built-in bench/window seat in the breakfast nook...
Pretty sure all three kids could hide in here...
I am most excited about some of the silliest things... like our silverware drawer. I was trying to force all our forks into our little plastic divided tray tonight and couldn't help but think of this lovely drawer.
Super excited about this pantry, too...
Wood floors are done and countertops are in. They are both lovely. We probably won't leave the pieces of cardboard down, although our floors would stay much cleaner. =)
Our garage has been a bit of a disaster area...
The kids are getting lots of good out of the fun sand toys I bought at IKEA...
Checking out the frogs that Daddy rescued from the window wells...
They were all fascinated by the sinks...
But oh. my. goodness... they went crazy over the carpet in the basement.
It's a really big room and these three have never lived in a house with carpet. Especially not this much carpet. They run laps, do cartwheels, roll around on the floor and basically act like rowdy little nuts. (Hoping they won't be too disappointed when we put some furniture in there!)
The votes were pretty much 50/50 for the door, but we went with red. We've done so much green throughout the rest of the house, I really wanted something a little different. Red accents always make me smile.
And it looks really happy in the turquoise mudroom...
{We were hoping to move quite a bit of stuff into the basement this weekend. Except for one light in the kids' bathroom... the basement is DONE! But we have had crazy amounts of rain in the last week. Like nearby rivers are flooding kind of rain. And it is currently pouring. Not good for moving. Boo.
So... if you're reading this on Saturday... say some prayers for sunshine! And a dry enough driveway that we can back a trailer into it without getting stuck!}
