We survived the first day of school.
And it was good.
For all 3 of us.
I'll post pictures from this morning at some point.
Right now I'm too exhausted from emotional meltdown #2.

(Sorry, Mom... I may not have been completely honest on the phone. And I kind of think you knew that.)

Today was good. My kids were good. Sophie and Lawson's day was good. It really was.
But it's just a lot. A lot of change.
And it's only been 30 days.
I knew it would all hit me at some point.
And it did. It hit me hard.

Praying for you, dear friend. And, your classroom looks GREAT, but it makes me miss you at Slate Creek even more. :(

You are amazing--hang in there. I also think your classroom looks fantastic--so many stations and nooks... Love it!

Definitely a lot for you and your family this summer! Will pray for you today. Glad your kids had a good first day! And those first graders are blessed to have you!

Sweet Amy--sometimes meltdowns help us in ways that being strong could not! Don't feel bad about letting your guard down. You are in my prayers and so is your sweet little family. Here to a better day. You are one GREAT woman!!

fyi, you've been on my mind and prayers. You are doing just fine and responding normally. Moving is such a huge change and look at you....moved a whole house, 3 kids, and a classroom. Wow! You rock lady. BIG time.
Let the tears fall, you'll feel better.
