7th grade track.

Sophie figured out the tricky footing for triple jump and placed at several track meets! It ended up being her favorite event and she came home with at least two first place medals for this event during track season!

She also did great in the 800 meter run and placed in it several times!

We froze at the first track meet of the season and sweated like crazy at the final one! Track meets still aren't her favorite thing. =)

Sophie ended up with a pulled hamstring during the NCKL meet and fought it all afternoon. So proud of her for continuing with all 4 events, limping a little more each time. She wasn't able to do her best in her individual events, but still pulled out a 1st place finish as the anchor for her 4x100 relay team.

Loved watching this girl compete and do her best!

One of my co-workers has a regular petting zoo/farm and she was nice enough to invite some of us out for a visit one day! Milking goats, riding horses, puppies, bunnies, kittens, horses, a longhorn and a llama! So much fun!
