These were my 7...
1) My family lived in Canada for 6 months when I was a baby. (but my mom commented and said it was actually a year. Who knew? Apparently not me.)
2) I don't have a Smartphone.
3) I have a bone that pops out of my leg. (looks pretty creepy, but the only time it's caused me problems is when I ran hurdles in high school and when I did step aerobics for a class in college.)
4) I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 33. Now I have a big mug every day. (still with lots of creamer, though.)
5) I gave campus tours for 3 years at ESU. It was one of my favorite things.
6) Living on the farm was actually a part of our wedding vows. It took 15 years, but I'm holding up my end of the deal.
7) I used to always think I was an extrovert, but I'm pretty sure I'm a social introvert.

And a bit more random...
* Lawson played flag football back in October and I've never blogged about it. Soon. I have lots of catching up to do.
* It was crazy windy here today. Like 50 mph winds.
* Most of the chairs off our front porch ended up in the milo field. We still haven't found one chair. I'm really hoping it's not out in the lagoon.
* The trampoline ended up in the wheat field. We had just commented that we had been lucky it had never blown away, since we hadn't ever anchored it down. Literally 30 minutes later is when it flew off. Really wishing we would have chained it to the truck when we talked about it.
* I've had popcorn for supper the past two nights.
* Some days I love my hair and some days I hate it. It's my biggest insecurity. Always has been. A middle school girl told me a few weeks ago that she loved my hair and I kind of wanted to hug her.
* I only have 15 kids in my class right now. Smallest class I have ever had. I'm loving it.
* You know those people who say they "don't do drama?" Ever want to say to them, "Um... yeah. You actually do."
* We haven't figured out where we're going to put our Christmas tree in this new house. Not ready for it yet, but it will be December before we know it!
* I'm hosting Thanksgiving for our families this year. Pretty low key. Just my mom and dad, and my mother-in-law and brother-in-law. I'm only making side dishes, though. And a pie. I'm leaving the turkey and ham to the real grown ups. =)
* I'm watching "I Dream of Jeanie" on TV right now. (We only get 2 channels and one of them shows old shows in the evening: WKRP, Archie Bunker, Different Strokes...) I'm getting kind of annoyed by how often she calls him "Master."
* The dog cannot seem to stay out of the cockleburs. She has them in her fur constantly, then she chews on them to get them out and spits them on the floor. I can see 3 on our living room floor right now.
* I can think of 5 different things I should be doing right now. But I really don't want to do any of them. I'd kind of like to do this...
* The pictures of Gretchen had nothing to do with this post. They just make me smile. (She found one of Corey's turkey decoys in the storage room and carried it around with her for a few days.) She makes me smile. =)

If you haven't taken family pictures yet, please have Gretchen wear the turkey hat in a few. Also in response to your toaster streudel comment, I'm not a nicer mom, just a lazier one :) ha!
I love these kinds of things...the random 'about me' comments. I also love that even as an adult, you leave the turkey and ham to the adults!! That is totally my thinking and if one day when all the "adults" are gone and I'm left on my own, it'll be side dishes all day long! :) They tend to be my favorite part anyway.
I didn't realize it was the wind that moved the trampoline and chairs. I wondered why you were telling us that on FB!
