abc crayons.

** This idea came from Megan. She gave me some of these as a teacher gift when I had Talby in class. I bought the molds off of Amazon (just type in silicon letter molds). They have number ones, too, that would be fun! Megan's directions said 250* for 20 minutes. Be very careful with your S's! The 2 we did manage to get out in one piece required Corey and I doing it together. I thought M and N were tricky, too. I broke quite a few of those. With the exception of those letters, these were easy and fun! (cheap, too!)  Happy crafting!! **

The kids were good little helpers for this part...

4 bags for 4 sweet little neices...
(But only two of them are getting the letter S. After 8 attempts and 6 of them breaking, I gave up. Hopefully my sister will give those bags to the littlest ones. I don't think they know all their letters yet. Maybe they won't notice the missing S.)

I made these too! But, I did the names of each of my daughter's classmates. They turned out really well. Those S letters were a pain in the patooty to get out. Finally, I learned that if I did just the S by itself it worked a little better. I also pulled on the mold from each side to make the little "hooks" at each end of the S loose. Then I gently pushed up on each end at the same time. Took me forever but I had to have 3 of them and you can't very well give a child the letters of their name without a letter! I wanted to give up too! I can't wait to make more. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Hugs from Texas!
