snow.

So our superintendent is not a real popular guy right now.
We've gotten a good 7 inches of snow at this point.
And it's coming down strong.

I remembered that Gretchen has a doctor's appointment right after school and that I had parked Corey's truck on the bad side of the parking lot for trying to get out quickly. I just ran outside to move it to the other side of the parking lot. My jeans are wet up to my shins and my shoes are soaked. And I seriously had to take a couple tries at backing up the truck (the big truck) to get it over the drift that was behind it.

Teachers who have been out and about say the roads are getting pretty bad.
Kids are absolutely crazy.
I was up until 2 am with Gretchen, so I'm running on 4 hours of sleep.

So glad to be at school today.

Put it in 4wd. That's what it's for.

hmmmm? (to the comment before)

Hopefully that's someone you know and they are just teasing you.

I've thought about you teachers all day - that's just plan UNFAIR!! Dr. Morton was our superintendent in Winfield for lots of the years I was going to school - and we NEVER EVER EVER had a snow day. I'm glad to not be under his decisions anymore. Enough years of that.

At least it's Friday. I hope you can enjoy your weekend, snuggled up at home.

I've thought about you guys and the bus drivers all day!!

It's shocking to me that our school *never* cancels.
I think I've seen one (maybe two?) snow day since my daughter started kindergarten, and she's in 4th grade now. CRAZY.

It's Saturday...at least you're not at school today!! I hope Gretchen is getting better. Poor baby. That's not fun at all. Ellie was jumping up and Matt was holding her by the arm. It was just one of those at-exactly-the-right-moment shots! She looks funny!!
