a new day.

"Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely and with too high
a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This day is all that is good and fair.
 It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations
 to waste a moment on yesterdays."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Even though this day isn't over... I'm already looking forward to tomorrow.
Tomorrow has to be better.
Right?

You're right, today isn't over, but yesterday is. A little bump along the way isn't enough to side-track or defeat you. There are still blessings in today to be discovered. Like a funny smile from one of your kiddos at school. Like a sweet Gretchie smile and hug when you pick her up after school. Like a Sonic happy hour (or not so happy hour) drink.

Want to borrow my rose colored glasses? :)

I recall saying those exact words last Friday!! Thanks for your kind words last week- yes times like this make me miss my Mom tremendously. I am feeling more at peace with everything at least for the moment. Hope your tomorrow is better than today! Take care.
