christmas program.

Last year the church Christmas program caught me off guard. 

So when Lawson brought home a note this year, I made sure to put it on the calendar right away! 

I wasn't sure he would end up making it. There were a few tears shed and mommy was ready to say the heck with it. But daddy saved the day with a story about how he was a wise man in the church program when he was little. (And... there may or may not have been some bribery involved. Thank you, Sonic Happy Hour.) 

Miss Joy did so much work to get ready for this program! Costumes, head pieces, props. She is an amazing Sunday School teacher and we love her!

Cutest little wise man I ever saw... 

All my pictures are from their Saturday rehearsal. All the kiddos in sweats and tennis shoes were dressed up cute on Sunday. They did so great on Sunday morning! Lawson was full of smiles!

This little guy was promoted to Jesus at the last minute. He was less than thrilled. After he "heals" this sick man, he was supposed to hug him. He told me he hates hugs. He did it... every time... but he didn't like it.

I sat beside his mom Sunday morning. She was in tears... tears from laughing so hard at this face...

Jesus gave, Jesus gave, Gave Himself to take away our sins. (to the tune of "Deep and Wide") 

This little Jesus may have given Himself, but He wasn't too happy about it.  :)
