I need some help, please!
I'm getting pictures taken of the kids next week and I'm not sure about Gretchen's dress. I LOVE the dress... the style, the polka dots, the pink flower, the color... but I'm not sure I love the color on Gretchen.
I love her in this green dress, but thought I should do a different one since I took all the peony pictures in it. I didn't realize how different the shades of green are until I got the other one home.
Sophie is wearing a solid pink dress (same color as the little flower) and Lawson is in khaki shorts and a bright blue polo.
So what do you think? Keep this one? Wear the other green one again? Or go hit Carter's this weekend and look for something different?
And... I'm not a big bow person. I love how they look on other little girls, but for some reason, I just never put them in on my girls. But do I try and find one for pictures? I kind of feel like she should have one for pictures... but maybe not if she never wears one otherwise. (I have some friends with lots and I'm hoping they would let me just borrow one.)
So... opinions on the dress and bow or no bow?
Thank you in advance! :)

I really like that dress and it looks good to me! I think that her skin tone changes a bit with that shade of green, but with a bow I think it will all look just fine!
Def. a bow! I LOVE bows!!!
I would do a bow, if you use the other green dress. The one with the flower...it might be too much with a bow. I don't know if you want to listen to me though b/c I don't have any girls! The polka dot dress looks cute, especially if Sophia is going to wear a plain pink dress! Just my thoughts!!
You never know what the lighting is going to be like where you're going to be. I'd go with a bow. She's cute either way.
love the polka dot dress!!!
no bow!
that's my 2 cents!
Love the dress! And my vote is for no bow, but you knew it would be! :)
I love both dresses, but I love the first one more! It's just says, "girl!" to me! And she is ADORABLE in it! I really like the little flower on it, it's very sweet!
I say, no bow with the first dress, but def a bow if you choose the second one. :)
But again, I have all boys....but dream of one day picking out cute outfits like these.
Love the polka dot dress- looks very cute on her! I am definately a bow person (as you have probably realized from seeing Kate's pics:) however, because Gretchen never wears one I saw no bow. Or if you decide on a bow, maybe just a small one on the side. Too bad you don't live closer I have hundreds you could choose from!
i love the polka dot dress., keep it! ..i'm up in the air on the bow.
Dress is very cute, but not as flattering as the peony green dress.
I love the dress. I would love a headband with the same or similar flower that is on the dress.
You could also do jeans and a white shirt for each. Always looks great in pictures. Or a combination of jean dresses, skirts, white polo, etc.
I like the polka dot dress but I think a bow with it would be too much. If you use teh peony dress then definately add a bow!
I like the polka dot dress and probably would say no bow. But I also only have boys so I am not to up on the whole bow thing.
I think the polka dot dress is much cuter, and I think pushing the front of her hair over with a small plain white clippie would be my answer. But, then I would definitely do a white polo on your son.
i left a comment yesterday not sure what happened to it but the dress looks really cute on gretchen i think a purple flower would enhance it and i love the other grn dress ... blessings, lindalou
i'm going to go "against" everyone (apparently) and say the dress is too much. i LOVE it...it's so cute...but when i look at the pictures of her in it, i just look at the DRESS and not HER. and she's too CUTE to not see HER! i mean, i'm sure the picture will look GREAT and ADORABLE with her in that dress...but that's my 2 cents! can't wait to see how they turn out!
have a great anniversary weekend ;-)
Love the dress...think it's very cute...skip the bow...she's too cute and doesn't need it.
