I used the leftover cake batter to make tiny cupcakes... frosted and decorated by Sophie and Lawson...
I found a cute little cellphone that makes all kinds of beeps and noises. (Since she loves to play with ours!) I made the mistake of showing Lawson how he could record his own voice by pushing a certain button, then play it back. He thought it was the most hilarious thing ever. We've had to take it away from the big kids a few times since then.
I'm pretty sure this was a favorite present! (No steps on her own yet, but she is pulling up to everything... walking around everything... and standing on her own for a minute or two. She loves walking behind this little stroller! I'm sure it won't be long now!)
She wasn't too sure about her cake...
This was after I stuck some frosting in her mouth...
She didn't get too into her cake. This is what was left... (which the dog later ate while we were putting kids to bed. Along with the tiny sprinkle cupcakes. Stupid dog.)
I'm still having a hard time believing this little miss is one year old. She is getting such a personality! (and a bit of a temper, too!)
Happy Birthday, Gretchie-bug!
You're the sweetest little bug I ever saw!
