christmas morning.

Someone small might have eaten 3/4 of this box of Whoppers in just an hour or so. =)

About an hour after we opened gifts, we showed them this... the first clue to a little scavenger hunt.

Final clue took them here and they found the Wii hidden inside. Lawson was a little stunned. =) I didn't get any pictures after this because he came running at me and threw his arms around my neck in a huge hug. =)

Birthday cinnamon rolls for Baby Jesus!

Sophie spent a few hours out here. She turned the box from her Lala Loopsy bus into a school...

 Hi Momma!

Great, great morning! The kids loved all the gifts... no bad attitudes... it was just delightful.
I had to laugh later that evening though. My sister emailed me pictures from her house Christmas morning. She said she they had a great time, but she didn't get very many pictures. There were 19.
I downloaded my Christmas morning pictures shortly after noon. There were 296. =)

And then Grandma and Grandpa came in the afternoon with more presents...

This SOOO reminds me of our Christmas mornings - long ago! PJs, bed head, wrapping papers all about, gifts, playing with new things! Treasure the times. It may come to be that you will be separated by many miles and gather by SKYPE - or whatever modern technology will be available then!!!

Loved the photo of Lawson's arm around his Daddy's shoulders!

Thanks for sharing your Christmas morning. Love participating in the joy thru your pictures. It was really quiet over here! Not bad quiet, though.

Fun! We also did a scavenger hunt when we got our Wii for Christmas a couple of years ago...nothing like building the suspense, right? Tell Lawson to start practicing now...The Meneleys challenge him to a game of Wii bowling the next time we're together!

Well, now I'm sad my Sophie's Lalaloopsy bus box got thrown away. ;) The school turned out so cute! Looks like a fun, happy morning! Merry Christmas!

Our house got a Wii this year too, it's been fun. That race track came to live at our house too a few years ago, our little guy still plays with it. Looks like you had a great day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Looks like a bright and happy Christmas morning! Sophie looks very grown up. How can that happen in a week?! I'm with your sister - I didn't take hardly any pictures. I wanted to take in every moment of the day and forgot to snap pictures. Bad mommy.
