ready or not.

I'm feeling pretty ready. For tomorrow, anyway. Maybe not for Thursday, though.

Met some sweet, sweet kids at Meet Your Teacher night tonight. And a few... other ones. =) (I really need to find a little trampoline. We've got some extra energy to burn.)

Thank you for all the SmartBoard ideas! Meg B... I just might be emailing you! Thanks so much for the offer! I did not learn how to turn it on today... but there's still time. =)

Sophie and Lawson are excited about their teachers and classes. Sophie is with her best friend and Lawson is sitting right beside one of his best buddies from pre-school. His best buddy, Ezra, is in my class!!

My happy little to-do-list clipboard for school. The daisies were just perfect for me. I need to get a list on here, though!

Anxious to start getting to know all these new personalities tomorrow. It's going to be a busy day.

Hoping these 3 things will help get me through these next 3 days...

  2. Ahhh, the start of a new school year. I used to love this time of year until my daughter has to start Kindergarten on Monday. I am a wreck! I'm so afraid I'll bust into tears before I leave her classroom. I don't want to upset her or embarass her! Do you get cups/bottles to drink out of for your kiddos each year? I think I've noticed that in each of your "going back to school" pics! You seem like an awesome teacher. Hope this year will be a little better than last! Hugs from Texas!

  8. Well, I know you're busy today... but I know too you must be having loads of fun with those new students. The room looks awesome.... wow, what a neat thing it would have been to have rooms like that when I was little! Cool! I always did love the beginning weeks of a new school year. The smell of the hallways, new crayons, seeing my friends again from the year before.... yeah. I kinda still remember those things.

Blessings to you for this year!
