walking.

Gretchen has been pulling herself up and walking around things for quite awhile. She would let go and stand by herself, but she hadn't tried taking any steps.

This week she finally got brave... 

She took 3 or 4 steps Wednesday, a few during the day for Jessi on Thursday and she was up to 9 or 10 by Thursday evening! I love the tongue in these pictures! I'm not sure if she was really excited or really concentrating...

I didn't blog about it earlier, because my mom was coming to visit on Saturday. We wanted to see if we could surprise her! I took her awhile... Gretchen was too excited to get to Grandma and crawling is faster... and then she didn't want to get off Grandma's lap for quite awhile!  :)
