Can you tell a difference?
Old camera is the picture on top.
New camera on the bottom.
I think I may need to adjust some settings, though.
The lighting seems better in the first one.
Tell me what I need to do...

the flash washes out the people's faces and casts shadows behind.
no flash sets a yellow tone to the picture that takes some getting used to.
do you have photoshop? or a photo editing program?
did you read any of karen russell's blog?

this months creating keepsakes has big photo class thing for SLR cameras. pretty helpful i think.
it's all about what you like. there is no one right way to do it. lots of playing around to get what you like. AND with your outside summer shots will be so cool! (that's something to look forward to)
