It's a little sad how many pictures we have of these two. But they're just so sweet... =) 

Sophie played on a YMCA basketball team. Pink Danger. =)

Her first game she made 3 out of 4 free throws. She was pretty excited! (The season kind of went downhill from there, though...) Not bad. Just very few wins.

Night 1 of Parent/Teacher Conferences... DONE! (So lucky to work with such fun people!) =)

This girl. We lived 9 miles away from each other for a lot of years. We had several mutual friends. But we never met each other. Until we both moved here, the summer of 2012. We were at different schools, but the same school district. Then she got moved to my building. Right across the hall. And I'm so glad she did. All our mutual friends who told us we needed to meet each other were right. So glad God moved us here together!

Night 2... DONE! Which meant... a 3 day weekend! Yahoo! =) 

Someone was REALLY excited that P/T conferences were over! 

Sometimes, friends lock all their keys in their room... #buddieswait

This cat. We've pulled her out of the dishwasher... the washing machine... the kitchen sink... the dryer... the mudroom sink... the toilet. She's a mess.  #smidget

Wacky Wednesday during Dr. Seuss week. Lawson rocked the 6 pigtails and Gretchen's tutu.

I *thought* my leggings, shorts, rain boots and pigtails were wacky... until I got to school...

I'm still here. 

Just a little overwhelmed with life. 

Maybe I should start drinking red wine... 

I'm trying to keep moving. 

Except in the evenings when I sit on the couch. 

And then don't move.

I'm still not sure about that last part... 

Good to know I'm doing something right...

Hoping to be back in this happy little place soon. 

It's on my list. =) 

And the kids have had blog books out and have been reading them like crazy lately. 

That's good motivation. 

Because someday they'll think we apparently only did one fun thing in January of 2015. 

Lame.

This was the third year for this fun little tradition! Our first year was super easy when they lived across the street... but it's been so fun to continue out on the farm! 

Meagan was our official "fun pancake maker" this year!

Love this girl so much. So, so thankful for our 30+ years of friendship. They don't come much better than her.

And so thankful for the sweet friendship that these little people have.

No good pictures of Gretchen opening gifts, because she was sitting this close to me. She opened one of my gifts by mistake. I was a little concerned that Aunt Heather and Uncle Brian got her the movie, "The Proposal." =)

A favorite gift... (We both have polka dot boots now!)

Lawson couldn't wait to try out his new Nerf gun. Pretty sure he and Uncle Brian were searching for the bullets.
